What to Expect
The course follows a 6 week programme, starting with self-led learning and practical exercises for the first 4 weeks. You can view an outline on the Professional Training page.
There are mandatory video calls with your trainer in weeks 5 and 6. The dates of these calls will be confirmed 2 weeks before the course start date.
A final field assessment is required to complete the full qualification. This can be completed any time in the 6 weeks following the end of the course (weeks 7 to 12).

The River Condition Assessment training course is approved for CPD by the Royal Geographical Society.
